B+T Group began in 2000 with a simple idea: there had to be a better way to approach engineering. What started with structural analysis for the growing wireless industry has grown into a nationwide engineering and infrastructure services company.
Along the way, we expanded because our clients needed more from us. We added civil and drafting services, built Site360 to improve the information our engineers had to work with, and grew into site development, permitting, project management and construction management to help solve more of the challenges surrounding the engineering.
Today, we bring that same approach to telecom, utilities, commercial, industrial and energy infrastructure—with engineering licenses in all 50 states and teams capable of supporting projects across large geographies.

B+T is led by a team with experience across engineering, infrastructure, operations, finance, business development and people leadership. Together, they guide the company’s strategy while staying closely connected to the teams and clients doing the work every day.
Chad Tuttle
CEO
Chad Tuttle co-founded B+T Group in 2000 as a structural engineering firm serving the wireless industry. Under his leadership, B+T has grown into a nationwide engineering and infrastructure services company serving major carriers, tower owners and other infrastructure clients across the U.S.
Chad has also led B+T’s investment in technology, including the development of Site360 and the patented SiteView technology. A licensed professional engineer in 42 states, he remains closely involved in the engineering, technology and industry trends shaping B+T’s future.
Jeff McCowan
CFO
Jeff McCowan brings more than 30 years of financial and operational experience to B+T Group, with a career spanning the airline, manufacturing and industrial sectors.
As CFO, Jeff leads B+T’s financial strategy, reporting and financial operations, helping the company manage growth and make informed business decisions. Prior to B+T, he held leadership roles with Airgas, Global Power Equipment Group and American Airlines. Jeff holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Tulsa and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Illinois University.
Peter Smith
Vice President of Engineering
Peter Smith serves as Vice President of Engineering at B+T Group, where he helps shape the company’s engineering strategy, operational performance and development of new capabilities.
Since joining B+T in 2008, Peter has played a key role in the company’s growth and evolution. His leadership has spanned structural and civil engineering, Site360 production and the development of new service areas, including B+T’s DAS and small cell capabilities. He has also helped strengthen engineering operations, improve performance and expand how B+T integrates its U.S. and India teams.
Peter brings an engineer’s perspective to both technical challenges and the broader business, helping B+T find practical ways to improve how work gets done. He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Leigh Anne Self
Vice President
Leigh Anne Self is a Vice President at B+T Group, where she works across strategy, growth and operations to help the company identify opportunities, develop new capabilities and turn ideas into scalable programs.
Since joining B+T in 2014, Leigh Anne has held leadership roles spanning marketing, business development, product strategy and project management. Her work has included launching new service lines, helping shape the Site360 customer experience, building and improving operational programs, and connecting market needs with the teams responsible for delivering the work.
Before joining B+T, Leigh Anne built her career in marketing, brand strategy and executive recruiting. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Oklahoma State University.
Lori McNulty
Director of Human Resources
Lori McNulty brings more than 25 years of human resources experience, including work with Fortune 500 companies, to her role leading HR at B+T Group.
She oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. During her time at B+T, Lori has helped strengthen the company’s HR practices and programs while supporting employees across a diverse and evolving organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management from the University of Kansas.
