Chad Tuttle, CEO, recently joined Carrie Charles, CEO of Broadstaff on the “5G Talent Talk,” podcast to talk culture industry. In this engaging conversation, Chad reflected on his personal journey in the telecom industry, B+T Group’s evolution, and the company’s unwavering commitment to employee engagement and company culture.
Chad shared how his roots in the industry were influenced by his grandfather’s construction company, which built radio and early AT&T towers in the 1950s. This legacy inspired him to pursue a career in engineering and co-found B+T Group in 2000. While the company began by focusing on structural engineering, it has since grown to provide turnkey telecom solutions, including small cell infrastructure, fiber networks, software development, and drone services.
During the interview, Chad highlighted B+T Group’s core award system, where employees nominate peers for demonstrating company values, fostering a positive and engaged workplace. He emphasized leadership by example, respect, and performance reviews as tools to align employee career goals with the company’s mission.
Despite industry challenges in the past year, Chad expressed optimism about B+T Group’s future, pointing to long-term projects already underway and positive momentum going into 2024.
